Your log stays on your phone.

Duluk has no account, no server of its own, and no way to read what you prayed. This page says what does and does not leave the device.

What Duluk stores

Everything you log, every prayer, every fix to the history, every setting, is written to a database on your iPhone. It is not uploaded. There is no sign-in, no email address, no password, and nothing about you sits on a server I run.

The Duluk widget reads the same on-device database through an app group, so the home screen can show today without any network call.

If you delete the app, the log goes with it. The only copy that survives is a backup file you export yourself.

Your location

To pick prayer times and a timezone, Duluk asks once for your rough location. It takes one coarse fix, matches it against a list of cities that ships inside the app, and keeps the nearest city and its timezone. The coordinate is used on the phone and never sent anywhere.

You can say no. Duluk then shows a city picker and works exactly the same.

Reminders

Prayer reminders are local notifications, scheduled by the app on your phone. No push service is involved and no reminder passes through a server.

Cards and photos

When you save a card, Duluk asks for permission to add to your Photos. That permission is add-only. The app cannot read or browse your photo library.

Sharing a card to Instagram hands the image to the Instagram app. From there Instagram’s own privacy policy applies.

Backups

You can export your whole log as a file and import it again later. The file is yours. Where you keep it, iCloud Drive, a message to yourself, anywhere, is your choice, and Duluk never sees it after export.

What Duluk does send

Duluk sends a short list of product events to PostHog, an analytics service, so I can see whether onboarding makes sense and which features get used. The full list of events is:

• which onboarding screen was shown, and which answer you chose, including the country you picked for a calculation method
• that the paywall was shown, which feature you tapped from it, and which plan was bought
• that reminder permission was requested
• that a backup was exported or imported

That is the whole list. Events never carry prayer state, the Pause setting, a coordinate, or anything you typed. Screen recording, session replay, automatic screen tracking and crash capture are switched off in the analytics library.

Like any analytics tool, PostHog receives an anonymous install identifier with each event, plus the device model, iOS version and app version. Its servers, hosted in the United States, see your IP address when the request arrives. PostHog’s own policy is at posthog.com/privacy.

Purchases

Duluk Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, so Duluk never sees your name, card or billing address. The app only learns whether a subscription or founding purchase is active on your Apple ID.

iCloud, later

Duluk does not sync today. If iCloud sync is added, it will use your own iCloud account, the data will still be yours, and this page will be updated before it ships.

Children

Duluk collects almost nothing from anyone and asks for nothing personal, so there is nothing extra to say about children beyond the above.

Your choices

• Location, notifications and Photos can each be revoked in iOS Settings at any time.
• Deleting the app deletes the log and everything else on the device.
• If you want the analytics events tied to your install removed from PostHog, message me and I will do it.
