Support
Help with Duluk.
Duluk is made by one person, so support is me. Where this page says Settings, it means the gear at the top of the You tab in Duluk.
Contact
Email me at arhamhfz77@gmail.com or message @duluk.app on Instagram. There is no support team. I built Duluk alone, and I answer messages myself.
You can also write to me from the app: in Settings, under About, tap Send feedback. If you need an answer, use email, so I have somewhere to send it.
Duluk Plus and purchases
To get Duluk Plus back on a new phone or after reinstalling, open Settings, tap Duluk Plus under About, then tap Restore. It finds purchases made with the Apple account the phone is signed in to.
If I have sent you a code, open Duluk Plus the same way and tap Redeem a code. If you cannot pay, message me and I will send you one. No proof is asked for.
A subscription cannot be cancelled inside the app. Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Duluk. Your log stays open whatever happens to a subscription.
Apple handles refunds, so I cannot give one myself. You can ask for one on Apple’s refund page.
Your log and backups
Your log lives only on your phone. I have no copy of it, so if you delete the app, the log goes with it.
Before you change phones or delete Duluk, export a backup. In Settings, under Data, tap Export backup and keep the file somewhere safe, off the phone. To bring it back, tap Import backup in the same place and pick the file. Duluk shows you what the file adds before anything changes.
Prayer times look off
Duluk works the times out on your phone from the calculation method you choose. Methods differ by region and school, and when the app and your mosque disagree, go with the mosque.
In Settings, under Prayer times, first check that Location shows your city. Then you can change Calculation to the method your community uses, set Asr to Standard or Hanafi, and use Adjust times to move any prayer earlier or later by up to 60 minutes. A change applies to prayers still to come. Prayers already past or logged keep their times.
Reminders are silent or missing
A reminder is a nudge to log, not the adhan. It is an ordinary notification, so it follows Silent mode and Focus: on silent it arrives without a sound, and a Focus can hold it back.
Check that Duluk is allowed to send notifications, with sounds, in iPhone Settings, under Notifications. Duluk shows where things stand too: open Settings and tap Per prayer under Reminders. If notifications are off, it shows you how to turn them on. If they are on, it shows how far ahead reminders are set, and each prayer has its own switch.
Reminders are set up to ten days ahead, and opening Duluk sets the next days. If you only log from a widget or the Lock Screen, open the app now and then.
Turning off analytics
Duluk sends a short list of product events so I can see which parts get used. None of them carry which prayers you prayed or when. To stop all of it, switch off Anonymous usage in Settings. Off means nothing is sent at all. The full list is on the privacy page.
